Urban regeneration
Vetto Social Club
Built for people, powered by ideas.
It all started with a simple but powerful idea: turning a forgotten corner of Vetto into a vibrant, open place buzzing with life, music connections, and fresh ideas, inspired by the warm, inclusive atmosphere of the english pubs.
We’re talking about that spot between the main road and Via della Valle — once home to a derelict building, now reimagined as a cultural centre built on real values: sustainability, inclusivity, and participation.
Vetto Social Club is a statement, designed by Caire Consorzio in partnership with Cooprogetti. An urban gateway that speaks the language of contemporary architecture, while staying rooted in community spirit. A place that feels like home to everyone: young people, families, musicians, creatives, activists.
Here’s what makes it special:
The demolition of the existing building and the reinforcement of the retaining wall, using ecological engineering techniques to restore the soil.
The new multi-level space blends a pub and coworking area at street level with a fully accessible venue for concerts and cultural events below.
Light and openness define the space, thanks to big glass windows that keep the inside and outside in constant dialogue.
And of course, the building is NZEB-certified: nearly zero energy, super efficient, and powered by renewables.
Vetto Social Club is an invitation to live the local area differently — to take care of it, share it, and make it fairer and more welcoming for everyone, while building bridges between metropolitan and mountain communities.
